Digital Domain is an American visual effects and digital production company based in Playa Vista, Los Angeles, California. The company is known for creating digital imagery for feature films, advertising and games from its locations in California and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, including its own virtual production studio.

DNEG:
DNEG (formerly known as Double Negative and stylized as D N E G) is a British visual effects, computer animation, and stereo conversion studio that was founded in 1998 in London, and rebranded as DNEG in 2014 after a merger with Indian VFX company Prime Focus, it was named after the letters "D" and "Neg" from their former name.

Framestore:
Framestore is a British animation and visual effects studio based in Chancery Lane in London. Formed in 1986, it acquired and subsequently merged with the Computer Film Company in 1997. Framestore specialises in effects for film, television, video games, and other media. It is the largest production house within Europe, employing roughly 2500 staff — 1000 in London, and 1500 across offices in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Vancouver, Mumbai and Beijing.

Wētā FX:
Wētā FX, formerly known as Weta Digital, is a New Zealand-based digital visual effects company based in Miramar, Wellington. It was founded by Peter Jackson, Richard Taylor, and Jamie Selkirk in 1993 to produce the digital special effects for Heavenly Creatures. The company went on to produce some of the highest-grossing films ever made, such as the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Avatar, and Avatar: The Way of Water. Considered one of the most influential film companies of the 21st century, Wētā FX has won several Academy Awards and BAFTAs. The company is named after the New Zealand wētā, one of the world's largest insects, which was historically featured in the company logo.

Industrial Light & Magic:
Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) is an American motion picture visual effects company that was founded on May 26, 1975 by George Lucas. It is a division of the film production company Lucasfilm, which Lucas founded, and was created when he began production on the original Star Wars, now the fourth episode of the Skywalker Saga.

Pixomondo:
Pixomondo (PXO) is an Academy and Emmy award-winning international visual effects and virtual production company with studios in Los Angeles, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and London. The company provides virtual production and visual effects for feature films, television, and commercials. As of 2019, PXO employs over 655 people worldwide.

Moving Picture Company:
The Moving Picture Company (MPC) is a British multinational company providing visual effects, CGI, animation, motion design and other services for the film, TV, brand experience and advertising industries. Their artists have produced Academy Award Winning work for films including 1917, The Jungle Book and The Life of Pi. MPC is part of Technicolor Creative Studios. It is headquartered in London with facilities located in Los Angeles, New York City, Montreal, Amsterdam, Bangalore, Paris, Berlin and Shanghai.

Sony Pictures Imageworks:
Sony Pictures Imageworks Inc. is a Canadian visual effects and computer animation studio headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, with an additional office on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California. SPI is a unit of Sony Pictures Entertainment's Motion Picture Group.

Technicolor:
Technicolor Creative Studios SA is a French company that is involved in visual effects, motion graphics and animation services for the entertainment, media and advertising industries. Headquartered in Paris, France, it is a spin-off of Technicolor SA, which now renamed to Vantiva.

The Mill:
Technicolor Creative Studios UK Limited, doing business as The Mill, is a British VFX production company and creative studio headquartered in London, England, with three offices in the United States (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago), three others in Europe (Paris, Amsterdam & Berlin) and three in Asia (Shanghai, Seoul and Bangalore). It is owned by Technicolor Creative Studios. The Mill produces real-time visual effects, animation, moving images, design, experiential, and digital projects for the advertising, games, and music industries.

Animal Logic:
Animal Logic is an Australian animation and visual effects digital studio based at Disney Studios in Sydney, New South Wales in Australia, Vancouver in Canada, and Rideback Ranch in Los Angeles, California. Established in 1991, Animal Logic has produced visual effects and animation for feature films such as the Academy Award-winning Happy Feet, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, Walking with Dinosaurs 3D, The Lego Movie and Peter Rabbit. The company was also recognized for its work as lead visual effects vendor on Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, which won Outstanding Achievement in Visual Effects at the 3rd AACTA Awards ceremony. It is a subsidiary of Netflix.

Cinesite:
Cinesite Studios (also known as Cinesite VFX or simply Cinesite) is an independent, multinational business which provides services to the media and entertainment industries. Its head office in London opened for business in 1994, initially offering services in visual effects for film and television, subsequently expanding to include feature animation.

Method Studios:
Method Studios is a visual effects company launched in 1999 in Los Angeles, California with facilities in New York, Atlanta, Vancouver, San Francisco, Melbourne, Montreal, and Pune. The company provides production and post-production services including conceptual design, look development, on-set supervision, 3D animation/CGI, matte painting, AR/VR, compositing and finishing. Some commercial and feature projects produced by Method Studios have been recognized by award bodies such as the Visual Effects Society (VES) and Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP). Some Method staff have been invited to speak at industry conferences such as SIGGRAPH, NAB, Collider and the VES Production Summit.

Rodeo FX:
Rodeo FX is a visual effects company involved in projects in the film, television and advertising industry. The company currently has studios in Montreal, Quebec City, Munich and Los Angeles. The studio's VFX work has been rewarded on many occasions, including six Visual Effects Society Award for visual effects; these included two for the television series Game of Thrones and four for motion pictures. The company has also received three Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Effects for its participation in the TV series Game of Thrones as well as three HPA (Hollywood Professional Association) Awards for the same series.

Scanline VFX:
Scanline VFX is a global visual effects and animation company founded 1989 in Munich. The studio is led by VFX Supervisor Stephan Trojansky. The company has 7 locations including Munich, Stuttgart, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal, London, and Seoul. In November 2021, Netflix announced that it would acquire Scanline. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. The company will continue to operate as a standalone business and work with a variety of clients.

BOT VFX:
BOT VFX serve the creatively demanding post-production needs of the film and television industry globally, serving some of the biggest and smallest production houses, VFX facilities and agencies across several continents. They provide services ranging from rotoscopy, paint and matchmove to compositing involving CG elements and particle effects, and asset development. They work efficiently with clients who have some of the most sophisticated pipelines in the world.

FuseFX:
FuseFX is a motion picture special visual effects (VFX) company headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Their creative studios include FuseFX, Folks VFX, Rising Sun Pictures and El Ranchito. Established in 2006, the company develops visual effects for television and film projects, along with virtual reality experiences.

Redchillies VFX:
Red Chillies Entertainment is an Indian visual effects, production and distribution company established by actor Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan in 2002. It was transformed from the defunct Dreamz Unlimited. Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. has a visual effects studio known as redchillies.vfx which started off in 2006. Apart from home productions, the VFX team had been involved with many major movies like Chak De! India, Krrish 3, Don: The Chase Begins Again, Dostana and De Dana Dan. The division has won accolades for its work in India and abroad.

Rising Sun Pictures:
Rising Sun Pictures (RSP) is an Australian visual effects company headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia, co-founded and headed by Tony Clark. Since April 2021 it has been owned by FuseFX. Its film and television credits include Black Widow, Ford v Ferrari, Spider-Man: Far from Home, Game of Thrones, and Thor: Ragnarok.

Basilic Fly Studio (BFS) was bootstrapped in 2011. Its founding team is a boiling pot. It contains VFX artists, tech evangelists and producers. What’s common in them is a passion to create and support client needs well, on time. It is this common passion that leads to beautiful imageries; it makes clients see what they envisioned in their minds.

BlueBolt:
BlueBolt provides CGI to the global film and television industry. Founded privately in 2009, BlueBolt is an award-winning, independent company located in central London. Their team has extensive experience on film and TV productions of all budgets. They specialise in producing photoreal work using digital matte painting, compositing, 3D and FX. They work closely with their clients from concept work, through onset supervision, to final delivery on time and on budget.

CoSA VFX:
CoSA VFX was founded in 2009. However, the partners have worked together for much longer than that. Tom and Jon met in the mid-nineties at Mad River Post, doing commercials post-production and broadcast design. They moved on to Activision, where they became Flame artists, and spent the next decade working as VFX artists and supervisors on features such as Titanic (1997), The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) and Final Destination 3 (2006).

Luma Pictures:
Luma Pictures is a visual effects studio with facilities in Santa Monica, California and Melbourne, Victoria. Founded in 2002 by Payam Shohadai and Jonathan R. Beutel, the company is best known for their creatures, environments, and effects.

They provide end-to-end creative services (stereo 3D conversion and animation), technology products & services (Media ERP Suite and Cloud-enabled media services), production services (equipment rental) and post-production services (Digital Intermediate and picture post) to the Media and Entertainment industry.

Makuta VFX:
Makuta is an Indian visual effects and animation company based in Santa Clara, CA with branches in Hyderabad, India and Universal City, CA. The company received the National Film Awards in 2010 and 2012 for "Magadheera" and "Eega" respectively. Founded by Pete Draper, Adel Adili and R.C. Kamalakannan in 2010 off the success of their collaboration on SS Rajamouli's Magadheera, the trio brought in private investment and technical advisors from the entertainment and technology industries to their board of directors, such as Dasaradha Gude, Raja Koduri and SS Rajamouli along with long-time collaborator A.V. Dorababu as studio lead. As per agreement, Rajamouli exited from the board of directors after two calendar years during the production of Eega and Kamalakannan personally exited in 2012. Draper, Adili and Dorababu have been spearheading the studio's operations since.

Trixter:
Trixter is a German visual effects studio, with divisions in Munich and Berlin.  Founded in 1999 by Simone Kraus Townsend and Michael Coldewey, the company was acquired in August 2018 by Cinesite. The company's credits include Captain Marvel (2019), Black Panther (2018), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017).

Milk VFX:
Milk VFX is an independent visual effects studio in London, England and Cardiff, Wales. The company was launched in 2013. Milk VFX is known for creating complex and innovative sequences for high-end television and feature films such as Doctor Who (notably the 50th anniversary episode), it's spin off Class, Good Omens, Sherlock, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Ex Machina and Possessor.

Image Engine:
Image Engine (also known as Image Engine Design Inc.) is a visual effects and animation studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 1995, the studio specializes in character/creature design and animation, digital environments, VFX supervision, and concept art among other services. In 2010, the company was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for their work on District 9. Since then they have contributed to feature films and television series including Jurassic World, Straight Outta Compton, Game of Thrones, Chappie, Logan, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Pokémon Detective Pikachu. In August 2015 it was announced that Image Engine had merged with fellow visual effects and feature animation studio, Cinesite.

Company 3:
Company 3 (CO3) is an American post-production company founded in 1997 by colorists Stefan Sonnenfeld and Mike Pethel and visual effects artist/supervisor Noel Castley-Wright. Rob Walston brought the team of artists together and funded Company 3 under 4 Media Company (4MC). Company 3 provides post production, color grading and location services for feature films, commercials, music videos and television.
